FIFTH TOWN FILMS is always interested in partnerships with companies that share similar values and goals.
To date some of our key partners who have supported us, our gear, and our studio, include the following.
During the shooting our Kenouak Ashevak Heritage Minute, Canada Goose sponsored our production in the remote, cold exteriors of Cape Dorset, Nunavut. Their coats keep us warm on all of our winter productions.
On our recent Heritage Minute, shot in Annapolis Royal and near Grand Pre, Nova Scotia, Dazmo camera came to the table with lens and camera sponsorship to make a low budget stretch a long way. We look forward to collaborating with them on our upcoming docu-fiction feature film Drifting Snow.
Skylights in the Fifth Town Films barn studio roof enable us to keep the studio cool in summer and warm in winter. Most importantly, it’s always filled with the most amazing and inspiring light, a filmmaker’s best friend. We can’t thank them enough for helping us create shafts of our favourite stuff in our most creative space.
SHAPE CAMERA RIGS
SHAPE worked with Fifth Town Films to get us setup with a fantastic hand-held rig, including matte box and focus control, so we can get the smoothest and most efficient workflow for hand-held footage.
GO Power! Solar
While searching for the South Marysburgh Vortex in Lake Ontario, our 44’ houseboat Doc Holiday needed some solar power support to enable our shoot. Go Power! came through with a kit that included 400 watts of solar power to help recharge our cameras, phones, and other gear.
